Clay Buchholz is “Absolutley” Endorsing Trump, But “Not Really Into Politics”

Oft-injured Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz is going all in backing Donald Trump for President of the United States.

Apparently, the support has more to do with the fact that Trump introduced him to his wife at a UFC event than giant unrealistic wall proposals.

“I always found him to be a good-hearted person. He’s a lot of fun, but he’s obviously one of the smartest businessmen in the world, given what he’s been able to accomplish”, Buchholz said of Trump.

Of course, fellow Bostonian Patriots quaterback Tom Brady is friends with the billionaire, but stopped short of official approval.

Naturally, Brady has tons to lose financially and from an image standpoint, while Buchholz only has to worry about who will be the president of upkeep for his DL stint throne.  The right hander has spent at least one term in the disabled list the last six seasons.

Maybe this year when he’s recovering, he can “absolutley” concentrate on the intricacies of Trumpanomics.
