Mike Lupica, longtime blowhard for the New York Daily News, emerged today as a writer for Sports on Earth and entered a world where people are actually allowed to comment on his work, Twitter!
At this point, we don’t know if Twitter will be merely a landing spot for the work of the smartest man in sports and George Costanza’s favorite writer, but the inhabitants of the Twitterverse welcomed him with open arms…kind of.
Just in case you were wondering how its pronounced, @OrdioMongo breaks it down phonetic Zaunal ease.
I’m willing to hear these thoughts, but obviously someone is trying to get Lupica to pop his Twitter cherry by falling through a trap door.
Lot to take in there. I’ll be honest, I’m also willing to hear this as well.

Hey, Mike sets the trends. This Twitter thing might work.
On second thought…..
